Riding Lessons

 

Wild Horse Creek teaches the "Classic Riding Seat" which is applicable to all styles of riding from pleasure to showing. We also offer a variety of riding lessons for guided rides, trail safety, and on the cross country course. You may also check out our summer camps, and school holidays.

includes a Schooling Show on Friday

p.m. 12:30 - 4

 

1 month -

ride all day, every day for one 4 week session

 

3 months -

Riding Instructors

 

Anne Thill – owner
M.A. University of Denver has ridden horses in 7 countries on 2 continents.  She has been active in numerous horse show & breed associations including: AQHA, IBHA, MHSA, MOHJO, POA, 4-H Horsemanship Leader, Boy Scout Badge counselor & is the only authorized Girl Scout Badge provider in Mid-Missouri.  Her equestrian studies were undertaken at William Woods University.

 

Sofie Thill – instructor & trainerAnne and Sofie
Senior at William Woods University, has many equestrian accomplishments: MHSA high point western & hunter rider & horse, IBHA world show, AQHA Western Horsemanship & Showmanship, American Royal, POA all round youth.

 

Bonnie Carr—Guest Instructor & Trainer
M.S. Arkansas State University 1998 B.S Equestrian Science William Woods University 1996.  With 18 years of teaching experience including six at the university level in western, hunter/jumper and lower level dressage.  Has taught, coached and shown all over the US at grass roots/ 4-H level to AA National Ranked levels in Utah, Arizona, California, Minnesota, Maine, Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, New Hampshire, Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi and Florida.  Shes been active in many associations including AQHA, USAE and MHSA as well as smaller local and state organizations. Judges several shows each year.

 

Elise Bellefontaine – assistant instructor
William Woods graduate as of May '08. She rides hunters and jumpers and has shown at the American Royal and the St Louis National Charity Horse Show.
