Welcome to Wild Horse Creek Ranch & Riding Academy

providing equestrian excellence in the mid-Missouri area since 1992.  Our facility lies on 250 acres of the Ozark foothills 12 miles southwest of the capital Jefferson City. 
Our programs are designed with all “Horse Crazies” in mind.  Beginners through advanced riders are delighted by the quality of our instructors and horses.
Wild Horse Creek offers programs of unsurpassed quality in the following disciplines: Hunter Jumper, Western, Horsemanship, Reining, Dressage, Equestrian Games, and Trail Safety.
Our year round lessons range from ½ hour, 2 hour private or semi-private, to ½ day and all day sessions.  Ages vary from 3 years old to adult.  Private one on one lessons establish a knowledge base and comfort and safety level with the horses.  In group lessons they learn from each other as well as the instructor.  Day care centers and Scouts are frequent visitors to the ranch where they meet goats, donkeys, and other farm animals as well as horses.
Because horseback riding is a rugged sport our staff is first aid and CPR trained.  All instructors are certified and have completed Equestrian studies at William Woods University.  Even our horses are WWU graduates!
